ABOUT US

Polanski, Quinn & Associates is a state-licensed, evidence-based practice providing specialized psychological services.  Our clinicians are highly trained in conducting comprehensive psychological and forensic evaluations, including diagnostic assessments, PTSD evaluations (Nexus Letters), and risk assessments.  Each evaluation is performed with methodological rigor, clinical objectivity, and adherence to professional and ethical standards.

Our practice is frequently engaged to assist attorneys, courts, and administrative bodies in addressing complex psycho-legal questions.  We deliver clear, defensible reports that withstand scrutiny in legal and administrative proceedings.

In addition to our forensic services, we offer individualized clinical assessments and outpatient treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.  This dual expertise allows us to provide a nuanced understanding of the intersection between mental health, behavior, and legal matters.

BECCA POLANSKI, MLP

CO-FOUNDER​

​

Becca Polanski is a Masters Limited Psychologist (MLP) and Co-Founder of Polanski, Quinn & Associates, PLLC, where she specializes in clinical and forensic psychological evaluations.  She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Michigan State University before advancing into graduate-level clinical training across correctional and university mental health settings.  Becca holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and is licensed in Michigan as a Master’s Limited Psychologist.  With more than five years of experience in forensic assessment, Veteran disability evaluations, and correctional mental health, her work is grounded in evidence-based practices and clear, legally defensible reporting.

She specializes in forensic and clinical psychological evaluations, with particular expertise in assessments conducted for legal proceedings and for establishing service connection for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other mental health conditions in Veterans and Service Members.  Her evaluation process is marked by a professional and empathetic approach, prioritizing accuracy, ethical standards, and clinically sound methodology to ensure clear, comprehensive documentation for clients, attorneys, and referring providers.

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Sam Quinn is the Co-Founder and Director of Business Operations at Polanski, Quinn & Associates, where she provides executive oversight of the organization’s strategic, financial, and administrative functions.  With more than fifteen years of experience in healthcare operations and practice management, Sam specializes in developing systems that support efficiency, compliance, and sustainable growth.

 

She is responsible for financial planning and budgeting, policy and procedure development, workflow optimization, and vendor and partner relations, as well as overseeing internal infrastructure that ensures high-quality service delivery.  Sam works closely with clinical leadership to align operational goals with the mission of the practice, serving as a key liaison between staff, attorneys, partners, and referral sources.

 

Her leadership is grounded in professionalism, transparency, and a commitment to building a streamlined, ethical, and client-centered organization.

DR. HOLLY STEWART, LP

Dr. Holly Stewart is a licensed clinical psychologist (LP) in the State of Michigan, providing comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment services.  She holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology, as well as certification as a MoCA Cognitive Assessment Rater.

 

Her clinical background includes extensive experience in cognitive, personality, and diagnostic evaluations, competency and guardianship assessments, and trauma-focused evaluations, particularly within Veteran and legal populations.

 

Dr. Stewart has served in roles ranging from Staff Psychologist at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center to Clinical Supervisor and private practice owner, with expertise in evidence-based therapies, interdisciplinary collaboration, and forensic-oriented reporting.

PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS

We provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for individuals seeking diagnostic clarity and a deeper understanding of their mental health.  By integrating standardized psychological testing with meticulous, evidence-based clinical interviews, we produce evaluations that are accurate, objective, and rich in clinical insight—tailored to address each client’s unique presentation and needs.

FORENSIC EVALUATIONS

Our experienced clinicians offer detailed forensic psychological evaluations designed to address complex psycho-legal questions with clarity and precision.  We provide these evaluations either in our office or on-site at Macomb County Jail for incarcerated clients.  Our clinicians utilize standardized psychological testing, structured clinical interviews, and evidence-based methodologies to deliver objective, defensible findings that inform attorneys, courts, and administrative bodies.  Each report is written with the utmost professionalism and attention to legal relevance.

PSYCHOLOGICAL PTSD EVALUATIONS

At Polanski, Quinn & Associates, we are privileged to serve military Veterans and active-duty Service Members by providing specialized psychological evaluations focused on establishing service connection for mental health conditions.  Each evaluation is conducted across two carefully structured sessions, allowing our clinicians the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of your history and experiences.

DRIVER'S LICENSE REINSTATEMENT EVALUATIONS

Our skilled clinicians provide thorough evaluations to support driver’s license reinstatement.  We carefully consider your history of substance-related convictions, prior treatment participation, involvement in support groups, patterns of use and abstinence, and meaningful lifestyle changes.  Our goal is to deliver a precise, comprehensive evaluation that reflects your progress and readiness to move forward.

EXPUNGEMENT

EVALUATIONS

Our licensed mental health clinicians provide a structured forensic psychological evaluation for individuals petitioning the Court for expungement of a prior criminal conviction. The evaluation includes a diagnostic clinical interview, review of collateral legal and treatment documentation, and administration of standardized psychological assessment instruments.

 

Findings are synthesized into a comprehensive written report that offers:

  • Objective documentation of psychiatric history and current diagnostic status

  • Evidence of sustained behavioral change, treatment compliance, and rehabilitation

  • Assessment of dynamic and static risk factors, including the likelihood of recidivism

  • Identification of protective factors, community stability, and psychosocial functioning​
